Little Missenden Village HAll
A light and airy, spacious hall set in one of the Chilterns’ loveliest villagesLittle Missenden Village Hall is a popular venue for activities, weddings, christenings, dinners and fund-raising events (please note, we do not accept bookings for parties, including children’s parties). It is ideal for clubs and groups, while the beautiful, solid oak sprung floor makes the Hall a great choice for exercise and dance classes.
There’s a raised, curtained stage, sound system and overhead projector, which means the Hall is perfect for presentations and performances.
Outside there is a large car park and attractive garden area – both are suitable for marquees.
MAIN HALL
The hall has a sprung floor of oak, shutters at the window and a lighting system that can be adjusted to provide bright, white light or warm, dimmable light. The Hall holds up to 160 people for receptions, 140 seated theatre style and comfortably accommodates 120 guests for sit-down banqueting. The hall dresses beautifully for weddings, receptions & more. THE KITCHEN
Caterers love the spacious kitchen and all the below is included in the hiring price:

- Falcon commercial range cooker with five-burner hob and large single oven
- Cooking equipment including pans

SIDE ROOM
The adaptable 20 sq m side room has direct access to the car park and can be used as a bar area or for meetings.
EXTRA FACILITIES
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
The Hall was built in 1946 and has been adapted for wheelchair access. There is gently ramped access from the car park to double doors leading backstage, where there is a toilet with wheelchair access. There is also a ramp to the garden.
CLOAKROOM
The cloakrooms were recently refurbished. The ladies’ has three cubicles, washbasin, mirror and plentiful hooks and the gents’ has a cubicle, two urinals and ample coat hooks. There is a toilet with access for those with additional needs at the rear of the stage.
There is a car park with space for 20 cars and additional on-street parking is available nearby. There is an enclosed garden area which provides space for children to play or for a marquee.
